Mercy Aigbe says she will never quit acting for fashion
Mercy Aigbe has said creating the eccentric female character in her movie, ‘Osas’ has been her most challenge role so far.
Disclosing this to NET in an interview, the pretty actress recalls how stressful her role in the movie is and how she has to learn her native language just to perfect her character in the movie.
‘Every movie I have featured in was challenging, but the most challenging role so far has been ‘Osas, the character is a comic one. It wasn’t easy because I had no experience in comedy and it was challenging because I had to learn my native language which I don’t speak fluently. I was the producer, the scriptwriter, and I also played the lead character.’
Having become a fashion entrepreneur like a number of her colleagues, the actress says she will never consider leaving acting for fashion.
‘No not at all, I will still be acting, perhaps I am born to act. Fashion business is just another side of me that a lot of people don’t know and by God’s grace in 2015; I will be opening another branch of this store. I’m never going to quit movie for fashion.’
