Top Nigerian Blogs powered by Women - @Iambenavat

Has anyone noticed, or is it just me ,how most successful Nigerian blogs are powered by women, Linda Ikeji, Uche Pedro, Myme Whitman et al,. Trust me, am not being biased because am a female, correct me if am wrong, but I have discovered that the blogs which are most inspiring, entertaining ,educative, controversial and out of the norm blogs are usually owned by females.

The reasons may be due to the fact its only ladies who can have the patience to write about anything (fashion, news, gists, entertainment or personal stories) with the patience and hard work required for blogging without minding effort even when the blogs haven't started earning yet.

Despite harsh criticisms which I believe are minor compared to the positive feedback their blogs generates, these women continue to churn out stories, writings and share knowledge that satisfies their readers needs.

There are 3 reasons why females are the top influencers in the blogosphere.

1. The most important reason is passion, a woman';s passion and favourite interest can cause so much excitement in her that she will remain unfulfilled except she shares it with others. it may be the latest gist, recent acquisition or her new found religion.

2. Its a way of meeting friends, networking, getting exposed to other people's culture and experiencing self awareness. More women are also joining the growing stream of social media users,(They are usually behind Instagram's, drama), women also use their online network to connect extensively.(Like Blogher )

3. Blogging is time consuming and requires patience, a woman, like a stay at home mom, or full housewife can take up blogging as a means of getting occupied and such hobby can turn to a full time career, even if its not the normal office hours type.

Here are the major 25 Nigerian blogs powered by women, they are also some of my favorite blogs,in no particular order , they cover various topics from Scandals, lifestyle choices, business, law, music, fashion, news, events and weddings, gossips, technology, hair care, health tips, entertainment, blogging, romance
stories, faith and religion ,entrepreneurship and food recipes. I would love to actually recommend them for great reads. You will laugh, smile, be entertained and open mouth sef.
